Ensure Proper Permissions for Full Protection and Tracking
To ensure your iOS devices are fully protected and tracked by Senturo, you must grant the correct permissions on each device. After enrolling your fleet and installing Senturo on devices, follow these steps on each device to accept the necessary location and camera permissions:
-
Open Settings app on your iOS device.
-
Scroll down to the list of applications and select Senturo:
-
Set Permissions:
- Configure the permissions according to the table below:
Permissions | Required setting |
Location Services | Always Allow |
Notification | Allow |
Background App Refresh | Allow |
Cellular Data | Allow |
Note: These are Apple requirements for an Application to use these services. Users must also confirm that the location permissions are still set to Always three days after installation. This requirement can be circumvented by setting a Screen Time Password. You can use this guide to set up screen time passwords on iOS devices.
