Ensure Consistent Location Settings with Screen Time Restrictions

Follow these steps to prevent location changes and subsequent popups on your iOS device. 

Steps to Prevent Location Changes

  1. Open Settings:

    • Open the Settings app on your iOS device.
  2. Navigate to Screen Time:

  3. Enable Screen Time Passcode:

    • Click "Use Screen Time Passcode".IMG_1729
    • Set a passcode as instructed.
  4. Apple ID for Screen Time Recovery:

    • You can skip this step when prompted to link an Apple ID for Screen Time Recovery because it is not required.
  5. Enable Content & Privacy Restrictions:

    • Toggle on Content & Privacy Restrictions.IMG_1732
    • Enter the Screen Time Passcode you set earlier.
  6. Restrict Location Services Changes:

    • Navigate to Location Services.IMG_1733
    • Change the setting to “Don’t Allow Changes”.

  7. Finalize Settings:

    • Quit the Settings app. Your device is now configured to prevent location changes.

These instructions assume Senturo is installed and location permissions have been granted and set to Always.
