How to Enroll Chrome OS Fleets

Efficiently Enroll Multiple Chrome Devices

  1. Log in to Senturo using your account credentials.

  2. Navigate to Device Enrollment:

    • On the Device Enrollment page, click on "Chrome OS".

  3. Select Multi-Device Enrollment:

    • Once on the Chrome OS device enrollment page, click "Multi-Device" enrollment.
  4. Download the .CSV Template:

    • From the Multi-Device enrollment page, download the .csv template.
  5. Edit the .CSV Template:

    • Open the downloaded .CSV template using a spreadsheet application (e.g., Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets), and fill Device name and serial number, as these are required fields, then Save the file.
  6. Save the Completed .CSV File:

    • Save the filled-out .CSV template with the updated device details on your local device. This saved file will be used for the subsequent upload step.
  7. Upload the .CSV Template:

    • Return to the Multi-Device enrollment section.
    • You can drag and drop the .CSV file or click the 'add a file from' button.
  8. Confirm Upload and verify enrolled devices:

    • After uploading the .CSV file, the system will process the information and enroll the specified devices. Verify the success of the upload and check for any error messages. Address any issues with the .CSV file if necessary.
  9. Extension Deployment:
    • After enrolling the devices, you will need to switch to the Google Admin console to deploy the Chrome extension to the enrolled devices (Extension ID: ihabekdmbcnedfcgfmdonildofeocenj).

Note: the devices can take a few minutes to propagate. If your devices continue to show as "Not activated" after a few minutes, please confirm if devices are powered ON. You can also try restarting the device.
