Using Senturo Actions in IncidentIQ

Perform Device Management Commands Directly from IncidentIQ

Overview

Once the IncidentIQ Integration has been configured in Senturo, authorized users can perform key device management actions directly within the IncidentIQ interface.

These actions appear as clickable Senturo links under each device’s Meta Information section and allow administrators to secure, locate, or update devices without leaving IncidentIQ.

Available Senturo Actions

Displays the device’s most recent location on a map, including coordinates, timestamp, and export options for historical records.

Steps:

  1. In IncidentIQ, click "Click to view location."

  2. A new window will open showing a map with the device’s last known position.
  3. To download a history of recent locations, click "Export Last 15 Location Records."

5. Wipe Device

Steps:

  1. In IncidentIQ, click "Click to wipe device."

  2. Enter your API Key to confirm.

  3. Check "Accept Liability."

  4. Click "Wipe Device."

Warning: This action cannot be undone. Once executed, all data on the device will be permanently deleted.

Limitations

  • Links open in the same tab: Due to IncidentIQ’s current platform limitations, Senturo action links cannot open in new browser tabs automatically.

To work around this, right-click a link and select "Open Link in New Tab."

Conclusion

With Senturo actions available directly in IncidentIQ, IT administrators can quickly secure, locate, or manage devices without switching platforms.

This seamless integration enhances workflow efficiency and centralizes device management within the existing support environment.
