Senturo’s Data Import feature lets you efficiently update key information for multiple devices using a single CSV upload. This is ideal for mass updates such as device names, tags, notes, assignee information, and more. This article guides you through the steps and CSV requirements.

Steps to Update Device Info via Data Import

1. Access the Data Import Page

  • In the Senturo dashboard, navigate to Account Settings.

  • Click on the Data Import tab.

  • Under Select data type, choose Update device info.

2. Prepare Your CSV File

Your CSV file must include the following required column:

  • Serial or UUID (mandatory to identify the device)

You may optionally include any of the following fields to update:

  • Device Name

  • Group Slug

  • Tags

  • Notes

  • Assignee Name

  • Assignee E-mail

You can use the built-in template by clicking Download Template, or create your own CSV file with these headers.

3. Upload Your CSV File

  • Drag and drop your file into the upload area, or click Browse Files.

  • Once uploaded, click Upload Data.

4. Review and Confirm Field Mapping

  • Senturo will display a preview of the fields and data values.

  • Ensure each field maps correctly, especially the Serial or UUID.

  • Click Import Data once everything is verified.
