The Send Immediate Device Broadcast feature in Senturo allows you to instantly send messages to multiple devices in bulk using a CSV upload. This article explains how to format your CSV file, upload it, and send your broadcast.


Steps to Send an Immediate Device Broadcast

1. Access the Data Import Page

  • In the Senturo dashboard, navigate to Account Settings.

  • Click the Data Import tab.

  • Under Select data type, choose Send immediate device broadcast.

2. Prepare Your CSV File

Your CSV file must include the following required columns:

  • Devices Serials (mandatory)

  • Broadcast Name (mandatory)

  • Broadcast Content (mandatory)

You can:

  • Download a template using the Download Template button, or

  • Create your own CSV file with the required headers.


3. Upload Your CSV File

  • Drag and drop your CSV file or click Browse Files.

  • Once uploaded, click Upload Data.

4. Review and Confirm Field Mapping

  • Senturo will show a preview of your CSV data.

  • Confirm each field is mapped correctly:

    • Devices Serials: Lists device serial numbers or UUIDs.

    • Broadcast Name: The broadcast title.

    • Broadcast Content: The message content.

  • Click Import Data to send the broadcast.

5. Receive Confirmation Email

  • Senturo will process the CSV and immediately send the broadcast to the listed devices.

  • You’ll receive an email notification once the broadcast has been sent successfully.
